Navy Beans
Small white beans, a.k.a. pearl haricot, Michigan grown on organic family farms. Navy is the second most popular U.S.A. bean, e.g. in Boston Baked Beans and Senate Soup. High quality protein, rich fiber, w/ B1, B2, B6, B9, etc., iron, zinc, and other minerals. Versatile - Delicious

Suggested Use
Washing & Soaking: Wash beans, place in a bowl with 3 inches of water above the beans. Soak 6 to 8 hours or overnight. Discard soaking water. OR Place in pot with 3 inches of water above beans, bring to a boil, turn off heat, cover, and let sit 1 1/2 hours. Discard soaking water, or water plants.
Cook: Place 3 cups water per 1 cup soaked beans in a heavy pot. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, simmer until tender, adding more water to just cover beans as needed.
Note: 1/2 cup dry beans = 1 1/2 cup cooked.
