BioGaia ProTectis Baby is a dietary supplement containing Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis that helps the good microorganisms restore a natural balance in the gut. L. reuteri Protectis has been tested in a number of clinical studies and proven both effective and safe for children of all ages.
What are probiotics
Probiotics are dietary supplements, like vitamins and minerals. The word probiotic means "for life" as opposed to antibiotic which means "against life". Who defines probiotics as live microorganisms which, when administered in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit of the host.
Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis is BioGaia's own patented probiotic bacteria. Because L. reuteri Protectis naturally occurs in the human body it is adapted to reside in humans.
Suggested Use
Use: Shake well before use. Five (5) drops once daily. Use regularly for good gut health or when your child has temporary stomach discomfort.
Other Ingredients
Sunflower oil, medium chain triglyceride oil and silicon dioxide.
Warnings
Storage: Maximum 25°C/77°F. Keep out of reach of children. Open container should be used within 3 months.
The tube includes a white desiccant device for prolongation of shelf life. The desiccant device is approved for use in direct contact with food, but should not be consumed.
